Storyboards

We created a storyboard to help us prepare visually for what we want to accomplish with the music video.  This will benefit our group by helping us stay on target and on time. Also it will help us to be prepared when it comes to filming and will make the flow of the video much smoother. TTT-Train Track Tracie. My Role

My role in our group is the Producer. http://www.ehow.com/about_4682292_role-music-producer.html I have looked at this website to get a wider understanding on what I will have to do whilst being the Producer. The Producers job involves being in charge of various important aspects which will help develop the music video.

As the Producer, I am in charge of keeping the whole group in order and ensuring that everything is organized. The Producer often works with the Director to help with the overall production of the music video. I am looking forward to working as the Producer and I feel I will learn a lot from this role.

Group Evaluation of Task

What my group will be aiming to accomplish throughout this project.

Research.
We will examine the codes and conventions revolving around the genre of our chosen band.

We will examine the demographics of our band's audience. Through this we will be able to make appropriate decisons revolving around the production of our bands music video. This will be accomplished by firstly understanding the age, style, fashion, beliefs, ethnicity, gender, religion, and class.

We will research music marketing:
-What type of label will be appropriate for our bands image?

-Research into Music labels similar to that of our bands genre.

-If this label is connected through cross-media ownership to other marketing potential, outlets

-Research into similar artists

-Successful/ unsuccessful artists similar to that of our group; So that we can compare between our group and other artists. Then make valid points as to how our group can fully benefit.

-Understand the codes and convections of music videos associated with the genre of our group.
